Penang trip (Penang Bridge Marathon)

I'm not take part in the marathon, however as a accompany to friends who participate the Marathon  (?)  or a chance to have a short travel.

Saturday morning, we having dimsum at Ipoh. Then continue heading to Penang around 10am. We go Queensbay mall to collect their running kit right after we reach penang. Then we go Balik Pulau to have our lunch (?) or high-tech (?) because it is already 3pm...Although all of us are super hungry at that time, however the laksa & ABC was still disappointed me..

After that, we heading to hotel for check-in. We use separate road to own hotel. I use the road along the seaside from balik pulau to Batu feringgi, the road was so narrow but the scenes along the road were so nice. so call "沿海公路”...I felt a little bit dizzy therefore I didn't take any photos for it, but i think mun kuin did. 

While we are looking for our hotel, the another car which heading to George Town was taking the wrong route and back to Butterworth.They waste some times to 游车河 on Penang Bridge..hehe~Anyway, we also took quite some times to arrive my hotel -- Hydro Hotel, Batu Feringgi. It was nice, comfort environment and clean. The lobby looks grand but the service so slow..mun kuin say she wait for check in until fall asleep. hahaha~~

After settle all my stuff, we depart to meet up with other guys at a food court named Red Garden 红园。Mei Fong said it is recommended by some 1 from their hotel. However, the food here are suck! Only the Ikan Bakar & ladies fingers from the seafood store is still acceptable. =(

After makan, Kumhing was walking home alone. Lian chee and mei fong having gathering with friends~ so the rest of us, mk, sh, cy, me and cw, went to Gurney plaza look for the bridemaid's top~ Fuyoh~tired man...pretty 1 so expensive, cheap 1 not nice, nice and cheap den no size....@.@....luckily, finally, we found it and without any objection, we bought it!! yeah~~ actually is quite nice, i wear it most ugly but look still okay, then the others girl you can imagine how pretty they are when they put it on~ =)

The another morning, after the Marathon, we meet again at their hotel after check out. I had been taken long Q just for taste the super ordinary Cendol, and acceptable Laksa under the "Big Big" Sun...Without anymore exploration in Penang, we depart back to KL.

Because cw never experience in Ferry, we decided to take Ferry instead of Penang bridge when back to Butterworth, since the ferry terminal is quite near to our departure location. Surprisingly, there are not much people waiting for the ferry. I thought it would have huge quantity of people rushing back to their town after the Marathon...

Because we feel like didn't take any nice food for this trip, so we decided to search for some nice seafood at Bukit Tambun. After i got advice from my uncle who stay here, we decided to go the restaurant named Yi Cheng 义城..we order 刺螺，生蚝，and grill "lobster without tail"..hehe...i like the dishes so much,it is the first time that i felt so enjoy on seafood...the oyster only cost rm3 per pcs, and it is very 丰满! So, we enjoyed seafood with high satisfaction without feeling full... =)

          

After that, we heading to Ipoh again. At the begining, we don't plan to go into Ipoh again, but cw was so addicted to the 德记炒粉，so we decided to take it as dinner. The funny thing is, I am not 100% remember the route to that restaurant since it is not the old 1 in Ipoh old street, and cw was very 仙家 like he know the route but he only went once and I went twice. Finally, 误打误撞, the road that we thought wrong is actually correct, and we found that restaurant! Ops, i want eat the local fried meehoon! i want eat the steam octopus! It is so tasty~~

After dinner we depart back to KL again (?)~ But along the way back we keep on stopping and looking for food...we bought Grapes at fruit retailer, bought Guava & Pulasan at R&R Tapah...We also discuss the wedding games which use on Evelyn wedding ceremony. Many types of games we had been thinking off but not all suitable to play. Around 10.30pm we reach KL, sh was calling lc to get her things at lc's house, and lc was surprising why we reach kl such late because they already reach home around 6 something.

As Conclusion, this trip had bring me a lots of laugh & fun. I am very enjoy it. Thanks Mun Kuin for contribute so much of Fun along the journey!
